SGHCS Office Opens

• THE MAIN OFFICE RE-OPENS AUGUST 21, 2025 @ 9 AM
• The main office will be closed Monday, August 25, 2025 due to Professional Development

Bus Passes

If you registered for busing via PowerSchool, your bus pass will be delivered via Canada Post to your primary mailing address in August. Students without a valid bus pass for the current school year will not be able to ride the bus.  Parkland School Division parents can access the online payment system by logging into the PowerSchool.

Welcome Back Activities

First Day of School for Grade 10 - SEPTEMBER 3, 2025

• Grade 10 students attend all day.
• All students must be photographed for ID cards. Photo packages will be available for purchase online. Retakes will take place at a later date.
• Welcome Activities
• Timetables can be accessed by logging into your PowerSchool account, Grade 10 student timetables will be printed.
• There are no supply lists for high school students. Most students organize themselves with binders and looseleaf.
• It is very important that Grade 10 students attend on this date in order to maintain their classroom schedule.
• No Grade 11 or 12 students will be on campus this day.

First Day of School for Grade 11 & 12 - TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2025 

• Grade 11 students attend in the morning only. Please attend at the following times according to the first letter of your last name:
  • A-F: 8:30am
  • G-M: 9:30am
  • N-Z: 10:30am
• Grade 12 students attend in the afternoon only. Please attend at the following times according to the first letter of your last name:
  • A-F: Noon
  • G-M: 1pm
  • N-Z: 2pm
• Registration only - no classes.
