Report an Absence

We have an absence alert system in operation at Spruce Grove Composite High School. Should your student be unable to attend school, please call or email to report the absence or late arrival.

If your child is absent and you have not called or emailed, you will receive an automated phone call reporting the absence.

We do not have adequate resources to care for sick students. Please arrange for sick students to recover at home.

Telephone Absence Reporting

Call: 780-962-0800 and press 1 for the absence line.

Please include the following information in the phone call:

Your student’s full name
When your student will be absent or late
The reason for the absence or late
When your student is expected to return to school

Email Absence Reporting

Email SGCHS.Absence@psd.ca to report your student absent.

Emails can be submitted at any time.
