This course is the continuation of the study of French at or beyond the mid-point of Beginning Level 2. This course is suitable for students entering high school with some background in French.

Prerequisite: French 10 or equivalent*

_{*Minimum of 3 years of Junior High French and teacher recommendation. Students entering French 20 from Grade 9 French must have mastered Beginning Level elements: Solid knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, culture and language learning strategies plus skill in comprehension (listening and reading) and production (speaking and writing).}

This course is also suggested for most students transferring from the French Immersion program into French as a Second Language.
