Cam Robertson has been a member of the Spruce Grove Composite High School community since the 2016-2017 school year as an Assistant Principal and Grade Level Coordinator. His first foray into school administration was back in 2014 when he joined the staff at Stony Plain Central School as Assistant Principal. Most of Mr. Robertson’s teaching career has been in the high school setting. For 12 years, he served the students and staff of Memorial Composite High School in Stony Plain as teacher, Social Studies Department Head and Innovative Teaching Coordinator.

He earned his Bachelor of Education - secondary route from the University of Alberta in 2001 and has been a passionate educator within Parkland School Division since 2002. He also just recently earned his Masters of Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of New Brunswick.

“Although I will miss the direct, daily work with students in my current Assistant Principal role, I am very excited to lead and work as SGCHS Principal alongside students, staff, parents and community members, as we shape learning, school culture and citizenship for Spruce Grove and area youth.”
